(makes 6-8)
Ingredients
- 100g self raising flour
- pinch of salt
- 50g caster sugar
- 1 medium egg
- 60ml milk
Method
- Mix flour salt and sugar, add egg and gradually beat in enough milk to make a thick batter
- Cook 2-3 at a time by dropping spoonfuls of mixture on a moderately hot, well greased griddle
- Cook until underside is golden and top is covered with bubbles. Turn and brown on the other side
